Retail Architecture

Retail Architecture is a photographic project in collaboration with Am-D Design, clothing company that fabricates garments (mostly Bermuda shorts and down jackets) distinguished by eye-catching details.

The project is developed in six diptych, in which an architectural image is compared with a still life one, both sharing the same aspects of aesthetic and composition. Still life images, indeed, highlight a distinctive trait of the item that makes it unique and recognisable; at the same time, architectural photographs explain how these traits are immediately identifiable in some buildings in Turin city.
